I read this yesterday and has been in my mind since then, so I'm back to comment. I have exactly the opposite problem and this story was an eye-opener. Only last weekend I said to a friend: "I give up on dating, I won't move a finger about that anymore." I have never ever said that about other parts of my life, even after spectacular failures. Maybe I should learn from myself a bit more. Thank you writing this Lisa, a great story!
