I read this yesterday and has been in my mind since then, so I'm back to comment. Thinking about it, I realized I don't even have a second place, because I work from home. No wonder I feel lonely, I have close to zero opportunities to just stumble upon familiar faces. I thought I needed more close friends, but actually what I'm missing more are casual friends and these regular places. Thank you for sharing this Kieran, it was an eye-opener, and now I have something exciting to work on, finding these places. :))
