I can really relate to this. My best friend in high school once told me out of the blue: “You know you are the type of person to reach the top of the pyramid always?” I smiled and said: “It’s true, I like winning.” And she answered: “Don’t forget that there’s place only for one person at the top of the pyramid though, you will be there alone, on your own.” It’s 15 years later and we are not close anymore but I think of her every time I find myself at the top of a pyramid, feeling lonely on my own…
